Woodland Zoo Seattle

Sunday, May 23rd, 2010
After taking a day to recover and discover our neighborhood, we made a trip to Seattle's Woodland Zoo.

Here I am with my Ergo-tot!

Konrad discovering the penquins.

There was a fabulous Meerkat exhibit but my kids were more interested in being Meerkats;-)

When entering the world of the giant lizards, it is a good idea to hold mama's hand;-)

The lizard, though not very active, was large enough to catch the attention of my tots.

Taking a ride on the giant lizard.

Examining the tongue of the giant lizard. Now that is one long tongue! Note how Zosia is sticking her tongue out, too!

Now that is an interesting lizzard!

Who can resist taking pictures of peacocks!

Especially one as cocky as this!

Farmer Konrad

Zosia 'pretend' tasting the veggies at the pretend market.

Taking a stroll through the worm crawl where worms are as big as tots!

Can't help but be totally fascinated by pink birds with S-shaped necks and long legs. They look like something Dr. Seuss made up.

Two tired tots get a buggy ride to the car.
